documentary about latest flooding in Erbil (the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan)

I feel honored to be invited to contribute and participate in this documentary about Erbil’s (the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan) urban planning, in regard to the latest flooding.

During my current visit in Kurdistan, I have felt speechless countless of times, when I see the respect that the locals put on expert opinions. This very reason made me eager to share my expertise and provide with insight into the devastating flooding event.

Last but not least, I would like to express a heartwarming thank you to the wonderful filmmaking team of the Vim Foundation, who worked tirelessly during this holiday season with this research/educational but also storytelling documentary.

Wernstedt stipend

I am honored to announce that Chalmers University has awarded me with the prestigious Wernstedt stipend for this year. An angel of my architectural vision is to study the current public spheres from perspective of a young female. This generous award will enable me to take my ideas and transform them into action. I look so much forward to getting started on this project.
